Thomas Cook India launches AI-powered platform for customised holiday planning, ET TravelWorld

Thomas Cook India, a leading omnichannel travel services company, in partnership with its Group Company, SOTC Travel, has unveiled an innovative AI-powered platform designed to revolutionise the way customers plan, customize, and book their holidays. This new platform aims to significantly reduce the time required to plan a customized trip, enabling customers to create personalized itineraries, check availability, and complete bookings within minutes.

Initially deployed with sellers, the platform will soon be available directly to customers through the company’s websites (thomascook.in and sotc.in) and mobile apps in the coming months.

Traditionally, planning a customized travel program could take up to 48-72 hours due to the need to coordinate with multiple suppliers for flights, hotels, attractions, and local transportation. The new AI-based platform by Thomas Cook and SOTC drastically reduces this time to under 10 minutes, making the process seamless and efficient.

The platform leverages Deep Learning and AI algorithms to offer intelligent, personalized recommendations based on individual customer preferences. It integrates with a global network of suppliers to provide real-time checks on the availability of flights, hotels, experiences, and local transport.
