Vietnam Airlines introduces A350 aircraft on flights between India & Vietnam, ET TravelWorld


Vietnam Airlines, the flag carrier of Vietnam has commenced commercial operations of the state-of-the-art Airbus A350 aircraft on flights between India and Vietnam. The airline now connects New Delhi to the bustling cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, starting from May 15.

This achievement signifies a crucial step in Vietnam Airlines’ dedication to offering world-class service, utmost comfort, and smooth connections for passengers traveling between India and Vietnam, and to other destinations.

The Airbus A350 is well-known for its advanced technology and superior comfort. It has been designed to enhance the travel experience for passengers by providing a harmonious blend of modern amenities and Vietnamese hospitality.

The A350 aircraft offers a spacious cabin layout with 276 economy seats featuring best-in-class extra legroom and 29 full-flat beds in the business class, complete with amenities. Additionally, it boasts a cutting-edge in-flight entertainment system and is known for its super-delicious food, which includes specialised Indian meals among others. All these features ensure a comfortable and environmentally sustainable journey for travelers across continents.

Qantas increases Bengaluru-Sydney flights to meet high demand

This increase complements Qantas’ existing route from Delhi to Melbourne, which operates three times per week. The flights will be serviced by the Airbus A330 aircraft, featuring 27 Business Class suites in a 1-2-1 configuration, providing direct aisle access and lie-flat beds. Qantas’ international fares include checked baggage, meals, beverages, and in-flight entertainment as standard.

According to Google trends, Vietnam was the “Most Searched Destination for Indians in 2023.’’ Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates 14 flights weekly from Delhi and Mumbai to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. Furthermore, Vietnam Airlines offers seamless connections to China, Japan, Korea, Australia, and ASEAN countries from India.
