The LattePanda Mu is a compact x86 compute module powered by an Intel N100 processor, designed to run both Windows and Linux operating systems. It boasts a quad-core CPU that can reach speeds of up to 3.4GHz, complemented by 8GB of LPDDR5 memory at 4800MHz with In-band ECC, and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. The module’s performance is reported to be double that of the Raspberry Pi 5, with significantly higher GPU capabilities, ensuring smooth operation for demanding computational tasks.

The LattePanda Mu also offers flexible thermal management, with a thermal design power (TDP) ranging from 6 watts to 35 watts, catering to various application needs. Its design supports a multitude of interfaces, including 3 HDMI/DisplayPort ports, 8 USB 2.0 ports, up to 4 USB 3.2 ports, and 9 PCIe 3.0 lanes, making it a versatile choice for custom carrier board integrations.

The LattePanda Mu was introduced at a price of $149, which included the compute module, a lite carrier board, and an active cooler. This introductory offer was available for a limited time, after which the price for the combo kit was set to increase to $190. For those interested in purchasing just the compute module, an early bird price of $99 was offered for the first week following the launch. The regular list price for the LattePanda Mu alone is $139. It is available for purchase from DFRobot and other select retailers.
