“There is an urgent need for a skincare brand with advanced cellular testing methods to ensure the products’ safety and efficacy,” said AreoVeda’s co-founder Taru Mayur, India Retailing reported. “We are excited to introduce our products, and we are sure that our customers will come to see us as a reliable ally who they can trust during this beautiful phase of life.”

AreoVeda’s maiden skincare line features products designed to treat beauty and wellness concerns associated with pregnancy and birth. These include dryness, acne, and pigmentation for women as well as diaper rash, eczema, and cradle cap for newborn babies.

Each of AreoVeda’s skincare products has and will continue to undergo 10 cellular tests on lab-grown human skin cells in LifeCell’s own labs. This is designed to ensure that its products are beneficial and safe for the skin in a non-harmful way. The products are also toxin free and made from 98% natural ingredients, according to its Facebook page.

LifeCell describes itself as India’s first and largest stem cell bank, according to its website. The business was established in 2004 in Chennai and offers a broad range of reproductive and sexual healthcare services.
