Snitch reports 130% increase in sales, increases market share


Menswear brand Snitch has reported a 130% increase in sales compared to last year. The brand has pursued an aggressive expansion strategy and now holds a 2.4% market share in men’s fashion e-commerce in India.

“We are thrilled by the overwhelming growth the brand has witnessed from the past four years,” said Snitch’s founder Siddharth Dungarwal, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “Our journey has been marked by numerous milestones, each reflecting our commitment to excellence and innovation. This accomplishment reaffirms Snitch’s position as a world-class brand, and we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.”
 
Snitch has followed an omni-channel expansion strategy and its direct to customer e-commerce store is ranked fifth in India’s fashion and apparel segment. The business retails product categories including clothing, accessories, fragrances, footwear, and eyewear and sells on average 15 units each minute, according to the label.
 
Over the past six months, Snitch has focused on brick-and-mortar expansion and has opened exclusive brand outlets in cities including Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Vadodara, and Surat among others, Snitch announced on Facebook. The brand plans to have launched 40 new stores before the year’s end to connect with new customer demographics, opening on average a new store every two weeks.
