Satrangi Mela to bring together LGBTQIA+ brands in Gurugram for Pride event


On June 23, Satrangi Mela will bring together a wide range of fashion and lifestyle brands from the LGBTQIA+ community in New Delhi. The Pride Month themed shopping and entertainment fair will take place at IFC Social in Gurgaon.

“Get ready Delhi,” announced Nykaa on Facebook. “We are back with another Nykaa Fashion x LBB weekend access event to light up the city this Pride Month with Satrangi Mela by Social Offline.”
 
The event will feature a flea market designed to support LGBTQIA+ community owned brands with product categories including fashion, accessories, jewellery, and handicraft items among others. The event will also include live performances by various artists as well as food and drinks.
 
The event is organised by Social Offline, a chain of cafés, bar, and workspace venues in cities including Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru among others, according to its Facebook page. The business held a Mumbai edition of Satrangi Mela at the city’s ‘Anti Social’ venue on June 16 and an Indore edition on June 2 which both featured a mix of local artists and brands.
 
Satrangi Mela is sponsored by Absolut Glassware and aims to be an inclusive space for shoppers. Along with celebrating Pride Month this June, the event is designed to link up and coming craft brands with shoppers eager to discover new labels.
