Alpro Plant Protein is a new plant-based beverage from the Danone-owned brand that’s crafted with taste and nutrition as top-of-mind attributes to support changing consumer habits. The drinks contain 50-grams of protein per carton with 10-grams per serving to make the beverages ideal for consumers looking for simple ways to increase their intake of protein. The drinks come in two flavor options including Plain and Chocolate, which both have a soy-based recipe that is creamy and also free from added sweeteners.
The Alpro Plant Protein drinks are arriving in the UK and comes as part of Danone’s larger shift towards plant-based products to support consumers who are increasingly embracing alternatives to dairy. The products also react to protein concerns amongst consumers going plant-based.
