Pitti Filati welcomes 142 exhibitors in Florence

Pitti Immagine Filati, the international reference point for yarn and knitwear, is back at the Fortezza da Basso from June 25 to 27, 2024. This event will showcase the collections of the most important Italian and international spinning mills, the future trends narrated in the new Spazio Ricerca under the direction of Angelo Figus and Nicola Miller, and the latest offerings from the special Knitclub and CustomEasy spaces. The event will feature all the yarn trends for Fall/Winter 2025-2026, with 142 companies presenting their new collections.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, along with Ice Agenzia, supports Florence’s role in the internationalization strategy of Italian fashion by promoting the 2024 Pitti Immagine fashion fairs. This support is crucial for the incoming program of top foreign operators and communication efforts.

“Thanks to this collaboration,” explained Agostino Poletto, executive director of Pitti Immagine, “we can invest valuable resources in inviting buyers from emerging markets, both those who we know are potential new customers for high-quality Italian products and those who are already becoming important for our domestic exhibitors. For this activity, we have worked with the staff of Ice offices abroad, always finding expertise and in-depth knowledge of the respective distribution and consumption contexts, decisive elements for serious planning.”

Since 2020, UniCredit has partnered with Pitti Immagine as the main sponsor of the fairs, bringing ideas and projects aimed at supporting the development of territories and the excellence of Made in Italy.

The partnership is well-established, and since this year, thanks to the Florence Centre for Italian Fashion, we are pleased to have enriched it with the Cfmi Academy, a training initiative for graduates from the best Italian fashion schools. These modules address sustainability issues with a very practical approach.”
