“We got more proof of that this weekend when he tried to shame Joe Biden into taking a cognitive test,” Colbert said, then rolled a clip of Trump bragging once again about passing a cognitive test of his own years ago.
Colbert broke out his Trump impression to mock the former president.
“Doc Ronny Johnson, he gave me the test, then I went home to my beautiful wife Malaria and my two hideous sons, Urkel and Carl’s Jr.,” Colbert said.
The “Late Show” host said that’s not the only warning sign of Trump’s cognitive problems. One Republican lawmaker who attended a meeting with the former president last week told a reporter that he was “rambling … like talking to your drunk uncle at the family reunion.”
