Megha Pitti launches as new women’s occasion wear brand


Megha Pitti has launched as a women’s occasion wear label. Based in Mumbai, the new brand is priced in the affordable luxury segment of the market and mixes traditional and modern aesthetics.

“Our brand is about evoking emotions, forging connections and expressing a narrative that transcends the literal,” said Megha Pitti’s founder Megha in a press release. “It’s about creating a sense of connection with others through fashion that goes beyond the surface level. With our SS’24 collection, we have fused and combined his own creative universe of colours, patterns and shapes, as well as from Indian culture and craftsmanship as a whole.”
 
Megha Pitti’s garments are priced from Rs 7,500 to Rs 36,500 and its new collection has launched on multi-brand e-commerce platforms Pernia‘s Pop Up Shop, Aza Fashion, and Nykaa Fashion. The label aims to offer a “fresh perspective on affordable luxury” and adds a hint of maximalism and kitsch to classic style ensembles.
 
Inspired by Indian culture and craftsmanship, Megha Pitti’s selection of brightly coloured kurta sets, lehengas, and sarees are designed for weddings, festivities, and other occasions. The brand caters to the contemporary Indian woman across a range of ages.
