Krista Rothfuchs, a respected figure in the Canadian travel industry, is embarking on an exciting new journey as she takes on the role of Business Development Manager (BDM) at Exodus Adventure Travels. With her extensive background, Rothfuchs is set to bring her expertise and passion for travel to her new position, effective Monday, June 10.
Rothfuchs is best known for her impactful tenure at Air Canada Vacations, where she significantly contributed to the company’s success over nearly 12 years. Her career began in 2004 at Marlin Travel, and she later joined Transat, cementing her reputation as a seasoned professional in the tour operator world.
In an exclusive interview with PAX, Rothfuchs expressed her enthusiasm for her new role at Exodus Adventure Travels. “I have a personal passion for planning vacations to destinations I’ve never visited and exploring new places,” she shared. “Exodus offers tours in over 90 countries – it’s like having the entire world at your fingertips. Her role will involve building relationships and providing dedicated support to travel advisors, helping them deliver exceptional travel experiences to their clients.
Rothfuchs’ prior experience includes her pivotal role in the launch of ACV@Home, a program at Air Canada Vacations designed to support independent travel advisors. This initiative underscored her commitment to empowering travel professionals, a dedication she now brings to Exodus Adventure Travels.
