The Korea Tourism Organization India will showcase Korean beauty at its cultural fair from October 19 to 20 in New Delhi’s DLF Avenue Mall in Saket. The showcase will take place as part of the Korea Travel Fiesta 2024, designed to promote cultural exchange.
“The Korea Travel Fiesta 2024 is more than just a festival; it is an invitation for Indian travellers to discover the enchanting beauty and vibrant culture of South Korea,” said the Korea Tourism Organisation’s regional director for India and SAARC countries Myong Kil Yun in a press release. The event will feature a ‘K Beauty Zone’ which will showcase products by Korean beauty and skincare brands Jenny House and Amore Pacific.
Visitors to DLF Avenue Mall during the festival will be able to take part in interactive makeup tutorials to learn how to create popular Korean beauty looks. The event, which held its first edition in 2017, will also feature photo booths, food, entertainment, and culture including Hangul calligraphy and creative tattoo artistry.
“By August 2024, we had already welcomed over 119,000 Indian visitors to our country, reflecting the growing interest and strong connection between India and Korea,” said Myong Kil Yun. “Along with the cultural festivities, we are also hosting the Korea Tourism Roadshow 2024 to strengthen business ties and showcase the diverse travel experiences Korea has to offer. Given the tremendous response in previous years, we are thrilled to highlight Korea’s modern and traditional attractions once again. We hope both Indian travellers and travel partners will be inspired to explore and promote the wonders of South Korea.”
