“Halo represents Drip’s commitment to expanding its affordable luxury offerings,” announced Drip Project in a press release. “This new perfume is crafted with the highest standards of quality, aimed at those who appreciate elegance and refinement. Halo is designed to make a lasting impression, perfect for any occasion.”

The fragrance line features the masculine scents Date, Day Time, Sport, Alpha Male, and Party, which each come in a different coloured bottle for a modern, graphic effect. The perfumes complement Drip Project’s youth inspired jewellery.

Harsh Maskara launched Drip Project as an affordable luxury jewellery brand in 2021. The label is inspired by and connected to India’s hop hop scene and was acquired by Anil Shetty’s men’s jewellery brand Metaman in 2022 for $1 million. Following the deal, Maskara and Shetty became co-founders of Metaman.

Last year, Drip Project held a seed funding round. The brand is backed by Arihant Jain-led WLDD Private Limited and investors including Kofluence’s Sreeram Vanga Reddy, Accel Partners’ Prashanth Prakash, and Bluestone’s Gaurav Kushwaha.
