Japanese firm Sanyo Shokai’s sales at $95.1 mn in Q1 FY25



Sanyo Shokai, a Japanese apparel company, has reported net sales of 15.378 billion yen (approximately $95.1 million) in the first quarter of fiscal 2025 (Q1 FY25), representing a 3.7 per cent decrease from the 15.969 billion yen reported for the same period in FY23. Operating profit saw a significant drop, falling 27.8 per cent to 747 million yen from 1.035 billion yen in the previous year.

Sanyo Shokai reported Q1 FY25 net sales of 15.378 billion yen (~$95.1 million), a 3.7 per cent decrease from FY23.
Operating profit fell 27.8 per cent to 747 million yen, and ordinary profit dropped 28.7 per cent to 730 million yen.
Profit attributable to owners fell 34.1 per cent to 590 million yen.
Earnings per share were 50.63 yen, down from 76.90 yen.

Ordinary profit also declined sharply by 28.7 per cent, totalling 730 million yen compared to 1,025 million yen for the corresponding period in 2023. The profit attributable to owners of the parent company decreased by 34.1 per cent, reaching 590 million yen, down from 896 million yen in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a press release.

Earnings per share for the first quarter of fiscal 2025 were 50.63 yen, a decrease from 76.90 yen in the previous year.
