The new Crispy Chicken Nuggets consist of bite-sized, all-white meat marinated chicken pieces infused with a mild jalapeño buttermilk marinade. Each piece is then hand-breaded in a crunchy coating made that’s made from bits of crushed tortilla chips. Finally, the nuggets are fried until crispy and golden brown. To pair with the nuggets, Taco Bell is testing out two new sauces: Bell sauce (a tangy, savory sauce with notes of chili pepper) and Jalapeño Honey Mustard sauce (a sweet honey sauce infused with spicy jalapeño and classic mustard).
If the new Crispy Chicken Nuggets sound vaguely familiar, it’s because the chain first tested them back in 2023 in the Minneapolis area. Currently, the Crispy Chicken Nuggets are available from select locations in Houston for a limited time.
