Jaipur Rugs launches third global store in London, UK

Luxury rug and textile business Jaipur Rugs has launched its third international store in London, UK at Chelsea Harbour. The Rajasthan based brand also aims to open at least two more global stores this financial year.

Jaipur Rugs has launched in the British capital to bring its heritage inspired weaves to British shoppers, the brand announced on Facebook. The showroom is located on Lots Road and reflects Jaipur Rugs’ opulent traditional aesthetic.
 
“We are thrilled to expand our global footprint, building on our success in Milan and Dubai, as we showcase Indian design and craftsmanship to a global audience through our new showroom in London,” said Jaipur Rugs’ director Yogesh Chaudhary, India Retailing reported. “This marks a significant milestone for our company and by the end of this fiscal year, we aim to open two or more international stores.”
 
In India, Jaipur Rugs also plans to continue to expand its brick-and-mortar footprint and open five new showrooms in Tier 1 and 2 cities. The brand made its international brick-and-mortar debut in 2021 when it launched its boutique in Milan, Italy then launched a store in Dubai in 2023 to connect with shoppers in the UAE. Jaipur also retails in 90 countries through its online store.
 
“We are building a strong brand story across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities in India either by further strengthening our existing market presence or by entering new markets, with plans to open five new domestic stores during this fiscal year,” said Chaudhary.
