Intrepid Travel, a global leader in adventure tourism, has launched two new adventure packages aimed at showcasing the vibrant cultural heritage, wildlife, and scenic beauty of India. These packages, ‘Premium India Safari‘ and ‘India Expedition: Sikkim, Assam, and Nagaland’, are designed to bring around 12,000 adventure travelers to India in 2024. Led by seasoned experts and tour leaders, each group comprises 12-15 people, ensuring a personalised and enriching experience.
The ‘Premium India Safari’ package spans 13 days and offers a wildlife-focused adventure through India’s diverse landscapes. Travellers will embark on rickshaw safaris in Keoladeo bird sanctuaries, enjoy evening boat and night safaris in Satpura National Park, and venture on jeep safaris through Bandhavgarh and Panna National Parks. The itinerary promises encounters with a variety of wildlife, including birds, deer, leopards, sloth bears, monkeys, and tigers.
On the other hand, the ‘India Expedition – Sikkim, Assam & Nagaland’ package spans 16 days and explores the unspoiled wildlife reserves, wetlands, and mountain villages of northeastern India. Travelers will delve into the cultures of Sikkim, Assam, and Nagaland, visit Kaziranga National Park for the iconic one-horned rhinoceros, and experience the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. The trip also includes visits to Majuli Island’s floating villages and the living root bridge crafted by the Khasi people.
Rama Mahendru, Country General Manager-India at Intrepid Travel, expressed excitement about the new packages, highlighting the company’s goal of attracting 12,000 travellers to India this year.
In 2023, Intrepid welcomed 7,500 travellers to India, emphasizing its commitment to showcasing the true essence of each destination through meaningful travel experiences.
One of the standout features of the app is its single QR code system, simplifying access to booked experiences with a single scan. In addition to experience bookings, the app also facilitates essential travel services such as local commute, UAE Visa, and travel sims, streamlining the trip planning process for visitors. Furthermore, a dedicated partner app for experience providers ensures seamless guest check-ins and provides valuable features like live reporting dashboards.
