SpongeBob SquarePants is easily the cutest critter who lives under the sea, but what if scientists dared to make him even cuter? You’d get these adorable plushies based on the Krusty Krab grease jockey. Science, in all its hubris, created a bunch of these plushies, all based on SpongeBob’s supporting cast of friends and Squidward. These officially licensed plushies are only $15-$18 each and are exclusive to Amazon. They will launch alongside the new 4K steelbook edition of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie in July.
TeeTurtle’s new SpongeBob plushies have an extra trick up their metaphorical sleeves as well, as each one can be reversed to reveal a different Bikini Bottom character.
To give you an idea of what to expect, the SpongeBob plushie can turn into Gary the Snail, Mermaid Man flips into Barnacle Boy, Mr. Krabbs can transform into a non-edible Krabby Patty, and best of all, Squidward can change into a SpongeBob who references an infamous meme from the cartoon series. The plushies measure 6 inches tall, so they’re very huggable and portable.

There’s also a reversible plushie mystery box featuring one of six Bikini Bottom favorites, and these are half the size of the ones listed above. Each plushie blind box contains a surprise reversible plushie, and if you’re lucky, you might get one with Plankton inside. He went to college, you know. And we’re sure SpongeBob had a nice tote bag to carry around his textbooks. TeeTurtle is also releasing “plushie totes,” which are cute bags with small plushies attached to the straps.

This is a new 4K UHD release of the film, which has been hailed as one of the greatest animated movies of all time since it first released 20 years ago.
