The Hunch poll also found that that affordable fares, comfortable journeys, seamless technology integration, and a commitment to sustainability are top priorities for young flyers.
The poll results showed IndiGo as a clear favourite, securing 42.9 per cent of the votes due to its reasonable price with quality service. Air India came in second with 27.8 per cent of the votes. As the oldest airline in India, it maintains a strong reputation for its extensive network and legacy of reliable service. Close behind, Vistara gained 27.3 per cent of the votes, standing out of its innovative services and competitive pricing. Akasa Air captured 3 per cent of the votes.
Hunch, which is popular among urban 18 to 25-year- olds, has revealed trends in Gen Z’s airline preferences in India.
