Heritage-Driven Bread Branding : The Gonnella Baking Company



The Gonnella Baking Company has shown off new branding for its range of retail sliced breads that keeps a pulse on the brand’s legacy, while also incorporating a touch of modernization.

The branding consists of bold new images that put the product front and center, while the surrounding text and details reinforce the quality nature of the breads and the brand. The new packaging designs will be observed across the brand’s whole retail range that includes its White Bread, Wheat Bread, hot Dog Buns, Hamburger Buns, Italian Rolls and more. The branding is slated to start hitting store shelves in July.

VP of Sales Dave Gonnella commented on the new the Gonnella Baking Company’s new branding saying, “As the first redesign in nearly a decade, we knew it was time to evolve the look. We liked many of the designs, but ultimately, we needed to find out what resonated best with shoppers.”
