Heritage aviation launches daily helicopter service on Pithoragarh-Almora route, ET TravelWorld


Heritage Aviation, a leader in India’s helicopter services, has launched daily helicopter flights on the Pithoragarh-Almora-Pithoragarh route, enhancing connectivity in Uttarakhand’s scenic yet remote regions. This new service promises to provide fast, comfortable travel for both residents and tourists, offering stunning aerial views of the region’s landscapes.

The initiative is expected to significantly reduce travel time, driving economic growth and promoting tourism in these areas. After successful routes to Pithoragarh, Munsyari, and Champawat, Heritage Aviation is expanding its network by introducing Almora as a new destination under the UDAN scheme. The service will operate two daily flights on 7-seater helicopters.

The first flight will depart from Pithoragarh at 10:00 AM, with the return flight from Almora at 10:20 AM. The second flight will leave Pithoragarh at 1:40 PM, with the return flight from Almora at 2:05 PM.
