AFK Journey, the anime-style idle RPG developed by Farlight Games and published by Lilith Games, has introduced its first significant update since its launch in April. Titled “Song of Strife,” the update marks a notable expansion of the game’s universe, introducing a new desert-themed map and a set of story missions that extend the game’s narrative. The update also enriches the game’s character roster with the addition of two new characters, Alsa and Soren, who bring unique abilities to the game’s strategic gameplay. Alsa, a Mage character, wields earth-based attacks, while Soren, a Warrior, is characterized by powerful knockback attacks.
In addition to the new characters and map, “Song of Strife” brings fresh cosmetic items for players to personalize their experience. The update also includes new gameplay modes, such as Dura’s Trials—a PvE mode where players can earn rare charms—and Supreme Arena, a PvP mode that challenges players to compete in best-of-three matches for leaderboard rankings. These additions aim to provide both new and existing players with more content to explore, as well as opportunities to test their skills against others in the AFK Journey community.
