Trader Joe’s is building on the success of its Gourmet Fried Onion Pieces with the debut of a new Crispy Jalapeño Pieces product.
Like the brand’s Fried Onion Pieces, Trader Joe’s new Crispy Jalapeño Pieces are designed to be a crunchy, flavorful topper for everything from casseroles and bakes to sandwiches and rice bowls. The new product is made by a supplier in Thailand who takes thin slices of jalapeno pieces and lightly batters them before trying them until crispy and golden bowl. The fried jalapeno pieces are then crushed up slightly to turn them into a savory and mildly spicy topping.
