A&W has announced a new promotion in celebration of its 105th anniversary that will see centenarians receiving free root beer floats to mark the occasion.
The promotion will see consumers aged 100 and over receiving the brand’s signature root beer floats for free for the rest of their life. This targets the roughly 108,000 centenarians in the US who will be able to take advantage of the offer by simply visiting any participating location and mentioning it to staff. The complimentary refreshment deal can be redeemed once a week per person and might require ID.
The free root beer floats promotion from A&W embraces the brand’s legacy as both the oldest QSR establishment in the US as well as the oldest still in operation.
