Ochse is well-acquainted with the 214-room hotel and the renowned standards of the Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts brand, having previously held the position of Director and Complex Director of Catering Sales & Event Management at the same establishment from December 2013 to January 2017. With a career spanning over two decades in the hospitality industry, she has established herself as a distinguished leader, admired for her dedication to client satisfaction and her ability to maximize revenue. Ochse is committed to maintaining high standards of service and crafting memorable experiences for guests, positioning her to effectively drive revenue growth and enhance the hotel’s prestigious reputation as a top luxury destination in the heart of Chicago.
Ochse’s recent role was at The St. Regis Chicago, where she served as the Director of Sales, Group & Catering, and contributed to the hotel’s initial opening phase. Her extensive background in the luxury hospitality sector in Chicago includes roles such as Executive Director of Chicago Gourmet, a significant culinary event in the city, and President of Bunker Hill, a private luxury resort where all proceeds go to charity. Her versatility as a leader is demonstrated through her experience managing significant budgets, orchestrating major events, and building profitable relationships and partnerships.
Ochse has been recognized with various accolades throughout her career, notably being named the Waldorf Astoria Luxury Division Director of the Year for the Americas. A native Chicagoan, she leverages her deep familiarity with the city to further enhance the hotel experience. In her personal time, she enjoys exploring the local culinary scene, spending quality time with her husband and twin children, and coaching their sports teams.
