Kartell works in collaboration with Philippe Starck on the special A.I. collection of enhanced furniture. The designs are backed by AI technology to build on the foundation of human creativity. The advancements aid the materials and manufacturing process of design. This capsule is the first series that is developed by AI starting with the AI Lounge and the AI Console.
These are made using sustainable materials to deliver a comfortable silhouette with a futuristic design. Lorenza Luti, Marketing and Retail Director at Kartell explains, “The company is committed to leveraging new technologies and materials to achieve ambitious sustainability goals and deliver eco-friendly products without compromising on quality or performance.” Notably, the application of AI does not rewrite the work of a designer, but instead, helps streamline the planning phases.
